SOOOO CLOSE!

I really wanted to hit 10 lbs this week (last week I was at -8), but missed it by a little bit. Still, I lost -1.2 lbs, and that's not too shabby.

This week has started off shaky, and I have a poker game with the boys at my house tonight, which means pizza and beer. I won't drink the beer, but I'm sure I'll have pizza, so I had a late breakfast and I'm skipping lunch to try and even it out.

I realized I was making bad choices because my kitchen wasn't stocked full of stuff, so I went grocery shopping. When I was unloading everything, I had to stop for a second because I couldn't believe it was MY carriage. It was FULL of vegetables and fruit. I basically went along the outside of the store and stocked up on meat, dairy, and vegetables. Weird, but I felt good about it.

So I've got .8 to get to 10 lbs this week, and I WILL get there, if I have to eat only vegetables for the next week. After tonight's pizza, of course.

OOPS! FORGOT TO UPDATE

Weighed in last Wednesday and lost 1.4 lbs, which brings my total down 8 lbs. NICE!

I cannot believe how active I've been. I've been going dancing, swimming, helping Cynthia move - just moving my body a LOT. And I feel good - minus all the little aches and pains that come from NOT moving your body for so long.

But yeah, I'm chugging along. I've got a PMS week this week, so who knows how I'll do. But no matter. I've got a handle on things and I'm doing well and feeling good.
